Since today was the first day that it actually felt like Fall in North Carolina, my boyfriend and I wanted to do something fun and Fall themed with JJ! We had never gone to Hawk’s Pumpkin Patch before, but I found it on Google, and I loved the look of it! The reviews were great too so we wanted to give it a try! Today (October 5, 2019) was also their first day of the season.
It was about an hour drive for us, but we jammed out in our car, and we enjoyed the scenery of the beautiful trees due to the leaves changing. I love Fall colors! When we got there, we started walking around. There was no admission fee! There were so many pumpkins and such a great selection! There were pumpkins that were big, little, white, orange, red, and more! We had so much fun looking around, and there were so many places to take pictures! I had the most fun just taking tons of pictures of JJ. I loved seeing all of the other moms taking pictures of their little ones as well! 
Then we started a tradition. We helped JJ pick his first pumpkin! There is a section with really small pumpkins, and we got him one from that area. I want to do a small craft with him in a few days with the pumpkin. Anyways, my heart was so full making sweet memories and new traditions with my boys today.
When we went under the shelter to pay for the pumpkin, I was pleasantly surprised at the selection of homemade pumpkin pies and a variety of candies. They also had also had a wide selection of apples and apple cider to buy too! Also, the staff was amazing! You can definitely tell that they love their business! That makes such a difference. The man we paid for the pumpkin talked to us for a while, and he said that today had been very busy for their first day open for the season! I am glad because they seem like honest genuine people. Also the prices were not bad. Our pumpkin was only $2.00, but the big ones are around $10.00-$12.00. Not bad for being locally harvested!
The only thing that was pricey was the food from the food truck, but we didn’t mind because it helps out local businesses. We got a funnel cake and a lemonade for $8.00 all together. They also have apple cider, hot chocolate, nachos, and more! We sat at a picnic table, and we got to talk to a lovely couple and their grandson who were also making memories together today!
In conclusion, I feel like we have added this pumpkin patch to our little family’s traditions. If you are looking for a pumpkin patch with multiple activities like hayrides and corn mazes for older children, it may not be for you, but it is still worth the visit! We will definitely be back! I really enjoyed our visit today.

I’m so jealous that you guys have pumpkin patches. We don’t have them here in the UK and I think somebody needs to think about bringing them over. Your photos are so lovely and have made me feel like autumn/ fall is finally here!
