Bowling Night!

Today my boyfriend and I wanted to do something fun. We usually stay home on Saturday nights because of the baby, but we wanted to change it up tonight. We were feeling spontaneous for once! Our small town doesn’t have much to choose from besides a mall, Walmart, restaurants and a bowling alley so we decided to go bowling! I invited one of my friends and her family to meet us up to bowl so there would be more people!

We bowled from 7:30 until 9:30pm, and we had a good time! I’m pretty sure I had the lowest score all 3 games that we bowled, but that’s fine! Haha. I just have fun. Also my friend has a 2 year old daughter that JJ can eventually be friends with when he’s older! This time, JJ just hung out and took a nap while my friends’ little girl clapped for everyone while we were bowling. She even clapped when I made gutter balls! She’s such a cutie.

It’s nice to have some friends that are parents because they understand the struggles that can occur when going out. There might be tears or tantrums while we hang out, but we’re all understanding of each other. It’s great! It’s also fun to hear other parents’ stories about their kids because we can relate to each other. Most of all it’s nice to get out of the house.

awwwww, how cute and what fun! You definitely have to take those little moments for yourself and get out and have fun. I like to bowl but I’m TERRIBLE at it 😀 My husband bowls every year in a league. I’m always amazed at how patient he is when we do family bowling. I found you from the mom bloggers support group. Have a lovely day.

I couldn’t wait until my friends had babies so that we could get the kids together. We haven’t been bowling in years, but we get the kids together at parks and our houses. It’s awesome to see them grow up together and become friends themselves.

yes, it’s a blessing to have friends who are also parents because we usually have the same concerns and interests. 🙂

Oh what a fun activity!!!! And it’s true, going out with friends that are parents it’s kind of better. Your baby is so adorable!!!
