Nothing really grosses me out when it comes my son. Diaper blowouts to projectile spit ups.. it takes a lot to really bother me as long as little man is okay, but last night JJ decided to give me a lovely little surprise while playing in the bathtub!
Every 2 days, I give little man a bath. He LOVES to splash and play. I let him sit in the bathtub until the water is cold or he gets fussy. I sit on the bathroom floor and just talk to him and let him play. It is definitely a highlight of my day sometimes!
Last night, he was splashing and kicking in the tub. Then he started tooting while kicking. I was making him laugh saying, “Are you my little tooter?!” in a high pitch voice. Then all the sudden, right after I washed him and his hair, he let out a big one and I saw the water turn cloudy! He had pooped in the water! I called my boyfriend to the bathroom for backup! Haha!
He scooped JJ up, and took him out while I emptied the bathtub and cleaned it! My boyfriend was laughing so hard! It really was pretty funny! I put JJ back in the tub after it was clean again, and he had a look of shame for the rest of the bath.
With babies and kids, you have to keep a sense of humor when thing like this happen or it could stress you out! We decided to just laugh it off because things just happen. Let’s just say, JJ’s next bath might be a little shorter next time!

Oh the joys of baby surprises!!! Glad you guys were able to laugh it off, it’ll be a great story to tell later when he gets his first girlfriend 😉
I have a 3 month old. She often pees in the tub, but I have yet to get a big poop! I know it is inevitable and am dreading the day it happens! Funny story!
Haha, those baby bath time surprises! Both my girls left those surprises in the bath when they were teeny tiny babies.
