What’s a fear you’ve overcome — and how did you do it?

Listen to “The Best Way to Build Self-Confidence (It’s Probably Not What You Think)” on Spreaker.
One of the biggest fears I’ve had to overcome is putting myself out there and risking failure.. or worse, having people think I’m doing too much.
Over the years, I’ve started a blog, a podcast, YouTube channels, a real estate career, social media projects, and more. From the outside, I know it can probably look like I’m constantly trying something new. For a long time, I worried people would judge me for that.
But I’ve realized something. The people who accomplish things aren’t usually the ones who never fail. They’re the ones willing to keep trying.
Not every idea has worked out the way I hoped. Some projects grew, some didn’t, and some taught me lessons I needed to learn. But every time I stepped outside my comfort zone, I gained confidence, but not because I succeeded every time, but because I proved to myself that I could survive the outcome either way.
The fear hasn’t completely disappeared, but it no longer gets the final say. These days, I’d rather be known as someone who tried than someone who spent her whole life wondering, “What if?”
