Last weekend, my little family took a trip to the beach. On the way home, we all got a sweet tooth! We decided to stop at a little place that I have been seeing pop up on my Facebook recently. This place is called The Berry Patch, and it is nestled right off the highway in a the small town of Ellerbe, North Carolina! You can see the strawberry building from the road, and it is so cute and inviting!
The address is: 351 Cargo Rd, Ellerbe, NC 28338. They are open from 8:00am-8:00pm daily.

When you pull into the parking lot, there are picnic tables and a pretty large area for parking! It is such a down to earth setting. When you walk up, there is a little store with tons of farm fresh fruits, vegetables, candies, and of course strawberries! I loved looking around at all of the different options available! They also had souvenirs like hats, shirts, sweatpants, and more!

After taking a look around, we went over to the big strawberry building for some icecream (menu down below)! I personally should have gotten one scoop instead of two. They give you a good portion size! They also have so many flavors! I got peach and pineapple (YUM), and my husband got butter pecan and Reece cup! Everything was great! JJ sampled everything we got! Haha. I also loved their colorful picnic tables, and they even had small chairs for the younger children! JJ even made a friend to eat ice cream with!

In conclusion, I would definitely recommend this place to anyone passing through the area! We stayed a little over an hour, and we really enjoyed the laidback friendly vibe. We will definitely be visiting again soon!

I love the Berry Patch. I only live a few miles from The Berry Patch. I go once a week to get fresh produce. When our granddaughter (7 years old) visits from out of town, we have to go for ice cream! I love the butter pecan, strawberry, and peach flavors. The owners, Amy and Lee Berry, are super nice people and great community leaders. The strawberries are delicious! The tomatoes and potatoes are grown in Ellerbe soil are addicting. I am so glad you enjoyed your visit!
I am a little less than an hour from The Berry Patch, but I will definitely take a trip again for ice cream and produce! I can’t wait to try more flavors! I also heard there was a park close by so I might make it a little day trip soon! ❤️
