Life goes by so quickly. It seems like just yesterday, I was at my 38 week appointment with JJ. I remember my doctor giving us the go to be induced that same day! I remember being terrified, but I was also so excited. We did a quick run to the house before booking it to the hospital. I will never forget my husband praying for us right before leaving home. After starting on the inducing medicine, little Javier David was here about 7 hours later at 8:34pm on April 19, 2019. He was so beautiful, so small, and so perfect. We were in love at first sight.
In the past two years, as my little JJ grew and grew, I have been growing and learning everyday too. There have been good days, and there have been long sleepless nights, but before I knew it, my quiet and sleepy newborn turned into a sweet and wild two year old! It almost makes me want to jump in a time machine so I can go back and savor the little things a little more. All I can do from this point on is hug a little tighter and soak in every second with my little one!
Right now, JJ is learning so much! He’s like a little sponge! He knows colors (basic colors), shapes, some numbers, and most letters! He loves to hug his teddy bears and play outside! He is already super athletic as well! He can also play catch! He loves to visit family too! He’s good with recognizing people and remembering names! I am so proud of him!
I cannot wait to continue watching JJ grow! I know that he will be such a big helper in November when his sibling arrives. No matter how many children we add into our family, we will love them all the same, and I hope JJ will feel that. As a mom, I definitely have so much room in my heart for JJ and any other children we have in the future!
