18 Things I Am Thankful For!

Hello readers! This morning as I was looking through my calendar, I realized that Thanksgiving is less than two weeks away. I cannot believe how fast this year has flown by. In saying that, I feel like sharing with you all 18 things I am super grateful for. They are in no particular order, but they are all important to me! Let’s just jump right in!

1. My Husband

Oh my sweetheart. I love him so very much. We have our good and bad days just like any other couple, but our good outweighs the bad. We are also newlyweds, so our marriage is definitely something to be thankful for.

2. Our Little Boy

I love our sweet boy. He teaches me how to be a better person every day. He has such a kind and sweet heart. He is a wild and curious little guy, but he also gives the best hugs and kisses! He’s a big blessing, and I cannot wait to have more babies in the future.

3. Family

My family is wonderful. We have been through the good, bad, and the ugly, and I would not trade a single person in my family for anything in the world. 2020 has not been very kind to my family (my side and Javier’s as well) this year, but everything is looking up. We have been blessed beyond measure.

4. Friends

I love my friends. New friends, old friends, I am so grateful for them all. I have had some friends for 17 years, and some for only a short time. I believe that life is so much better with friends to share it with.

5. My Job/Coworkers

I love my job (most days) and my coworkers. We are all like family! I’m also thankful to make a small income to help my husband with bills some. I’m also thankful for my husband’s job as well!

6. Our Home

I’m thankful for our cozy 2 bedroom trailer. It doesn’t look like a lot, but it is definitely home. We have made so many memories here, and even though I know it is not our forever home, I sure will miss it when we move somewhere else one day.

7. Food/Drink

I’m thankful that we have never had to miss a meal. God had always provided for us whether I cook a full course meal or go around a drive thru! Either way, my family will get fed.

8. A Mighty God Who Loves Me

I’m so thankful for such a loving God who hears my prayers and keeps my family safe. He has blessed us for sure.

9. My Ability to Sing

I’m not Beyoncé or anything, but I can carry a tune pretty decently. I love singing for JJ and jamming out in the car! Haha.

10. Our Freedom

I’m so thankful that I live in a free country. I am also thankful for all of the men and women who have served or continue to serve our country.

11. The Beauty in the World

I love nature and I have extreme wanderlust! I want to travel to see more of God’s beautiful earth!

12. Closed Doors and Hardships of the Past

I’m thankful for my past because it has made me who I am today. I have definitely had moments when I don’t know where to turn, but those times were when I found myself and became a better person. Sometimes you go through hard times so you can learn to appreciate the good times.

13. Electricity

This one is a given. Light, A/C, Netflix, Wifi, etc. Gotta love electricity!

14. Health

I’m so thankful that my family has stayed healthy. It has been such a hard year for countless people around the world, and we have been blessed for keep our good health.

15. Our Cars

I’m thankful that Javier and I both have our own vehicles. It makes it easier for us to both work.

16. Cocomelon

I definitely have a love/hate relationship with the show Cocomelon. It is on my TV or phone daily. I let JJ watch it in small spurts if I need him to behave while I fold laundry or something. It’s been a lifesaver, and I know every single song!

17. Laughter!

I’m thankful that I can laugh and have a good time. Life would not be any fun without laughter!

18. This Blog

I’m so thankful to have outlet for my creative and wandering brain. Haha. I’m also thankful for everyone who reads my blogs as well!

Well I hope you guys enjoyed this blog! Please tell me in the comments what you are most thankful for! Stay tuned for more logs coming soon!
