Do you need a side dish at your next cookout? Or do you want something a little lighter for dinner? I have the recipe just for you. This pasta salad recipe is almost too easy to share, but with the way my husband and son go crazy over it, I just have to! I make it for dinner, get togethers, and picnics, and it gets eaten quickly every time!
Ingredients
- 2 boxes of Suddenly Pasta Salad BLT flavor
- 1 cup of mayonnaise
- 1 cup of mozzarella cheese (shredded)
- 1/2 can of green peas
- 1/2 can of corn
- 2 chicken breasts (boiled with a pinch of salt)
- 2 slices of Turkey (or ham) lunch meat
- 1/2 cup of milk
- Salt and Pepper to taste
Cooking Instructions
First, take your 2 boxes of Suddenly Pasta Salad, and add them to a pot of boiling water. I boil my pasta on medium low for about 20 minutes. Stir every few minutes to keep the pasta from sticking. When your pasta is thoroughly cooked, strain your pasta with cold water. Then set aside. Then in a large bowl, add your seasoning packets that came in the pasta boxes to a cup of mayonnaise. Stir well. Then add your pasta to the mix.

At this point while the pasta is still very warm, I like to add my mozzarella cheese. It melts into the pasta, and it makes it so delicious! Then add your peas and corn to the pasta, and stir well. Peas and corn are just my preference so it’s optional. I have always loved peas, and I love the crunch that corn adds to the pasta salad. If you want an alternative, my sister dices up cucumbers and tomatoes in her pasta salad! Just add what you like to make it your own.

Then I shred my boiled chicken breasts to add to the pasta. Then add 2 slices of turkey meat (chopped into small pieces). Then stir it all together. This adds a heartiness to the dish! Then add in a little salt and pepper to taste, and there you go! Your dish is ready to be served!

Who’s Ready to Eat?!
This dish can be served as the main course or a side dish. It can also be wonderful for picnics or get togethers as I said before. I made this meal last week, and my mom, my husband, our son, and I enjoyed eating it at our local park together! I hope your family will enjoy it as much as mine does!
