We LOVE Mexican food in this house, and tonight I made some steak fajitas that really hit the spot for us! They are super easy to make, and I promise your family will be begging for seconds!
Ingredients:
- 2 bell peppers (any color)
- 1/2 of an onion
- 2 tablespoons of ground cumin
- 2 tablespoons of paprika
- 2 tablespoons of garlic powder
- 2 tablespoons of chili powder
- 1 tablespoon of oregano
- Salt and Pepper to taste
- 1 pack of shredded steak
- 1 pack of small tortillas
- 2 limes
- 1/2 cup of cooking oil
Optional side items:
- Sour cream
- Salsa
- Avocados
- Extra limes

Instructions:
Cut your peppers and onions into strips, and put them in a pan to simmer on low. Then add your oil and about 3/4 of a cup of water to the pan. Add your spices, but only 1 tablespoon of each for now. Then squeeze one of your limes over it.

Then add the steak to a separate pan with 1/2 of a cup of water on medium heat. Add the rest of your spices and the other lime to that pan while the steak is cooking. It soaks all of that flavor right in! After your steak is thoroughly brown, add it with your vegetables!
Then I usually warm up my tortillas on the stove. It adds a little crunch to them. The microwave also works great too! Haha. Then I put sour cream, avocado, salsa, and limes on my plate on the side. Yum!

I hope you enjoy!

Looks delicious! My husband would love this! I’m not super big on steak, but would definitely try it with Chicken.
It is really good with chicken too!
