This past Saturday my little man just turned 6 months old! This morning we had to get his shots. Shot days are always a pain. I don’t mind the extra cuddles from JJ, but the doctor visit and the tears puts a little damper on the day. So instead of writing something doom and gloom, I want to write something funny that JJ has been doing lately!
Lately, JJ has been squealing and hollering when he’s really happy or just when he feels any emotion really. Mostly he does it when we’re at home and he is playing in his little walker. He just plays with his toys, and he squeals the whole time! His favorite time to make a lot of noise is when mom and dad want to watch a movie! Sometimes we even pause our movie to play with him or watch him play! He also likes to yell “mom mom mama!” I love hearing it because he’s my mama’s boy.

Usually when we go out, little man is really good, but the last two times I’ve gone out to eat, he was squealing in the restaurants! I went out to eat with my grandparents last week, and they were making him laugh, and then he was so happy he decided to starts squealing! Then this weekend, my boyfriend and I let JJ stay in the car seat while we were eating, and he started hollering when our food came out, and he squealed until we got him out of the car seat. I hate it when people stare. You can’t control what your baby does! It is a little embarrassing, but I look back at the people staring, and I shrug and smile. They usually stop staring then.

He also has a funny “stink” face lately. When he is irritated, he’ll scrunch his nose up and breathe In and out really quick. He usually does this when he’s tired of being in his walker or when he’s being changed. It gets us laughing because he’s so expressive! I love his little facial expressions because I feel like he’ll have such a huge personality when he’s older, and I can’t wait to see it in full swing!

I love seeing JJ grow and learn how to communicate and vocalize his emotions with us. He keeps me on my toes most of the time, but he’s such a good baby. I can’t wait to continue to hear his squeals and babbles. Soon enough he will be carrying on conversations with me! If he’s anything like me, once he starts talking, he’ll never stop!

What a cutie! My littlest guy is 3.5 months old and I can’t wait to watch him learn and grow too 🙂
How adorable! I miss when my kids were this little. I use to wish they would grow up and now being 2.5 and 3.5 I miss them being babies. They didn’t talk back and have tantrums really. LOL They just cried and kept me up all night.
Such a cutie. I miss my little girl being a baby. Makes me want more.
He just has the cutest stink face! 💗 That age is so precious! Soak up all the cuddles mama!
what an exciting time for your lil bubba! Makes me miss my son when he was a baby, now he’s 5 and we talk about cars and monster trucks and his “fantasy” little sister and the activities he’d love to do when she’s 3. haha!
