Today was great! I did a few things that inspired and motivated me. JJ and I got to go out for a little while today which was super nice, and I also finally took a leap of faith and I updated my WordPress to a Premium plan so I could customize my website and monetize my blogs as well! That was a really big step for me.
Earlier today, JJ and I met my mom at a Japanese restaurant to eat lunch together. I love spending time with my mom because she’s the sweetest person ever, and we have really good conversations. We talk about everything. Now that I’m a stay at home mom, we have so much in common because she was a stay at home mom my whole life.
Anyways, we got Hibachi chicken and Shrimp plates, and everything was so good! I always drown my food in white sauce when we eat there! Mom held little man for me while we ate, and he just stared at the food the whole time like he just wished he could have a bite. It was really cute. I know my mom really didn’t mind holding him the whole time because she’s so in love with her grandbaby.
Then my mom, JJ, and I went to Walmart. We looked around the baby clothes because they were on clearance! I didn’t buy anything though because I would’ve bought way too much, and he has so many clothes already. But I have a knitting hobby so I bought some yarn, and I also bought a cute purple storage box to store my finished scarves in! I really didn’t need it, but I love being organized, and I thought it was a good investment! It’s almost winter so I’ve been in the mood to knit more. Anyways, while we were in Walmart, I also bought some groceries too.
While my mom and I were talking earlier today, she told me that she had a good feeling about my blog because the views are increasing, and I’ve been getting a lot of traffic to my website. So when I got home, I put JJ down for a nap, and I upgraded my WordPress plan! I spent a couple hours updating, customizing and monetizing my blog. I’m super happy with it!
I’m so excited that I took some steps to invest in myself today. It really showed me that I’ve got to take leaps of faith and believe in myself to make things happen for myself. Nothing exciting happens if you never take risks in life. I hope I can turn this blog into something really special for anyone that comes across it. Writing is really my passion, and I have a good feeling about it!
