Javier and I have always shared our dreams and wishes together. We have a lot of the same goals and dreams. We both want to travel, have at least 2 or 3 kids together, have good jobs, and have a nice forever home one day with a backyard grilling patio with a pool. Our mentality is that the sky is the limit. We aren’t rich people, but we work hard and keep positive attitudes. Your mentality is really what can limit you at times. That and money of course.
Right now we rent a 2 bedroom trailer, have our son, and we don’t really go many places because my boyfriend works 5 or 6 days a week, but for a 19 and 21 year old, I think we are doing amazing though! We’ve accomplished so much in the past year to get where we are now, and I’m so proud of us.
I remember when we moved into our trailer. I was 7 months pregnant, and we only had a bed and a dresser. We were so excited though! Our landlords gave us a table and chairs for the kitchen, but the living room and the baby room were empty for a little over a month. One day, a family friend had to get rid of a practically new mattress, couch, coffee table and flatscreen tv so he gave it to us! We were so excited! Then we had great turnouts with the baby showers so JJ’s bedroom got filled up too!
From time to time, we go out and splurge on little items that can make our house more homey. Tonight, we went to Ross and bought a shoe rack, a rug, and a shower rack! We felt good coming home and putting everything together!

On the way back home, we were talking about our family we are growing, and how we’re going to keep having a great and successful life together. As long as we have each other with love and support, we can accomplish anything together. I’m so excited to see what the future holds for us!

Such a positive and inspiring story! I think it’s great to keep the same positive mentality that you have, it makes the hard times a little easier. Keep pushing forward and the sky is the limit!
Love this! Reminds me so much of my own relationship with my husband. It’s so important to have those little dreams and moments together.
