Javier’s First Father’s Day!

Today was a really special day. It was Javier’s first Father’s Day as a father! We went to my parents’ church this morning, and I picked out matching clothes for my boyfriend and our son to wear. They looked so precious. It was so sweet to see how proud he looked carrying JJ around with their matching outfits! They also gave out little gifts to the fathers at church, and my boyfriend won the youngest father of the year award. He walked to the front of the church holding JJ to receive it, and you could just hear all of the ladies in the church going “awwww.” I felt so proud of my boys.

I’m so proud of Javier. He’s such a great dad. At nineteen, most guys want to run around with friends without a care in the world, but Javi has really stepped up to be a wonderful family man. He works so hard so I can stay at home with our baby, and even after work, he spends quality time with us. He even calls and checks in on us during his breaks too.

When I first found out I was pregnant, I feel like so many people were concerned about how young we were, but I had all the confidence in the world in Javier. He’s been there for JJ and me every second of the way. He was even a champ when I was giving birth. He was so strong for all of us. There was such a strong bond between him and JJ from the first second. Even when I was pregnant, JJ would even kick around inside of my belly when he heard Javi talk so I knew they would have that strong connection.

I’m glad my son will grow up with such a great role model. He’ll know how to respect women watching how his daddy treats me. He’ll learn he has to work hard for what he has because he’ll see how hard his daddy works. Most of all, I hope he has his daddy’s sweet heart. Javier is always so kind and caring towards everyone. I’m so glad my son can grow up with this kind of father and role model.

There’s so much more I could say, but I would probably go on forever. I’m just so glad that my son has such a great man to call his daddy. I can’t wait for many more years of joy and parenthood with him. My partner in crime. My love. My everything. Happy Father’s Day babe. ❤️
