The Best Fruit Salad For Summertime!

Summertime is almost upon us! Summer is my favorite time of the year, but sometimes being in the heat can put a damper on your appetite. I know that when I feel hot, all I want is something cool and refreshing. That is why I’ll be making my fruit salad all Summer long for my family. It’s so creamy, delicious, and semi-healthy! It’s definitely a favorite in my around here!

There are a ton of different ways to make fruit salad. Everyone has their own twist on it! Today, I’m going to share with you how I make mine, and you can choose to add or take away any of my ingredients to make it your own.

Ingredients:

  • One carton of strawberries
  • 2 cups of grapes
  • 2 large apples
  • One can of pineapple chunks (drain well)
  • 2 cups of strawberry yogurt
  • One can of lechera
  • One cup of shredded coconut
  • One cup of walnuts
  • You can also add more fruit if I left out a favorite fruit of yours!

Preparation:

First, clean your fruit very well! Then cut all of your fruits, and toss them into a large bowl. I like to cut my grapes into halves, and I like to slice my strawberries thin. The pineapples can just be thrown in. I leave the pealing on the apples. I love the crunch that the apples give! So good! Can you tell I love fruit?!

Then mix in the yogurt and the lechera. Lechera is VERY sweet so if you do not want the whole can, you can use half. It is totally up to you. Then add your walnuts and coconut! Then put it all into the fridge to cool. That’s basically it!

It’s so delicious!

I really hope you enjoy this refreshing snack just as much as my family does! I’m sure I will be making this fruit salad so many times this Summer! Stay tuned for more blogs and recipes to come! ❤️
